a single stinger costs $480k based on the last contract signed to buy 1300 of them. SPending another $5k - $20k (?) to put in a remote self destruct to prevent it from being used by someone we don't want to have it seems like a small incremental investment to stop it from being used against us or possibly a civilian airliner

U.S. awards $624 million contract to replenish Stinger missile stock (axios.com)

That is easy just install a small atomic bomb in each weapon. The explosion will produce the emp and neutralize everyone near. It’s been 30 years since I have looked into emps. I am sure no advancements have been made.

The bigger news here is we are replenishing our supplies. I trust we are using first in first out policies. Having a newer stockpile of stingers seems like a good thing.

It turns out that England has been buying Russian oil all summer. They did not report it as such because they bought the oil through third countries, including Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The total? Over $900 million worth since March. Shame, shame, we know your name. Liar, liar, pants on fire. Distracting us with all of this royal ceremony rubbish while buying oil from the enemy.

UK 'quietly' imports tens of millions worth of Russian oil – The Times

Britain is a strong ally of the USA but they have always been a completely self interested country.

National self-interest is simply a matter of degree.

I’m tired of talking about Muhammad Ali’s wins. Let’s talk about all the backpedaling and dodging and rope-a-doping he did. Guy was a loser.

Do you think Ukraine is going to stop at Crimea, or do expect Ukraine to take Moscow?

I don’t know for sure, but Zelensky is warning that, if Russia doesn’t give back all the territories that want to be Russian, that he’ll continue to kill Polish farmers.

One of the reasons Russia's military units struggled to coordinate with each other early on in the war: the Russian electronic warfare was equally effective against Russian communications as it was against Ukraine's. Seems like Russia would have designed for some selectivity in their jamming capabilities.

Russian forces were suffering from 'electronic fratricide' within days of attacking Ukraine, a new report says
