I’ve got a pretty imaginative sense of humor, but you haven’t done a good job of explaining your post. You are likely correct that I don’t understand your context, but apparently I’m not the only one you lost with that comment. Try again please
But whatever he loses in your eyes he gains in the eyes of his players, Recruits, and parents who see he's not gonna throw is players under the bus when the blame can be spread around to many and chalked up to a game they didn't play as they should have.
Show me where I said he was going to throw AR under the bus. And if you can't be trusted to tell the truth in one area, how can you be trusted in other areas. I think you miss the meaning of integrity.
Can someone tell me why we continue to have AR talk in press conferences, especially after a loss? I don’t remember previous quarterbacks being interviewed like this.
He was a bit more indirect today and he usually is very direct. I think he’s just getting tired of saying the same thing, which is the results aren’t there, but we can’t change results without consuming ourselves with the process, one player at a time. If any of y’all need a translator, I can help. Billy is very deliberate and even when he’s vague, you can tell what he’s talking about.
I'm on the Billy Bus. Having said that, this presser left me blah. I would have liked to have heard some hard truth, like "inexcusable" or "unacceptable", some fire. We just lost to friggin vandy. Clearly he's a "even keel" guy, but it was just too ho-hum for me.
What is he "lying" about for one , and two, why does he owe us full disclosure on everything going on in his head. He doesn't owe us chit, he owes honesty tonhisnsuperiors, his players, the players families and his family. He doesn't have to disclose every detail to the fans on a message board. You say no transparency and that he's lying but the people who probably should be in the know are in the know. Not sure you can say he doesn't have integrity because he described his team's performance not as harshly as you would have preferred. He said the game was disappointing and a setback for sure, Maybe you prefer him to go all Mike Leach and call the team a bunch of girls to the media or something.
Who cares if Billy gator34654 gets his explanation. I want to win and the best way to do that is keep things in house.
He's got a bunch of passion but he also has a calm demeanor about him. Also it could be his belief in his process and he knows better days are ahead.
What are you crying about easycoastgator? He was singing a song that half the team probably sings. Do you think our players listen to the PG13 versions of these songs or stop signing when the N word is used? Did he call someone the N word? Would someone of a different skin color be disengaged for singing a song with that word in it? Probably not. On the surface it’s hokie. The kid likes wrap and hip hop… I would like to know if our players were offended… doubt it. I feel for the guy. What a gut punch.
I'm more concerned about the QB's appearance of lacking passion. What concerns me is that BN seems to lack a sense of urgency and patience is not a virtue with this (or most) fanbase. He seems slow to adapt to things that aren't working in the game. Other coaches are making offensive adjustments after the very first drive when the opponents defensive game plan is revealed.
This is at the 7:24 mark of the presser, Edgar is asking a question about AR and what I heard him say is “…sometimes he runs with ferocity…”
