Well...their offense is more pitiful than ours by a long shot. On the flip side, their defensive coaching is way ahead of our coaches.
Right, a different opponent would be nice. A potential downside is we mail it in while the other team regards it as their super bowl.
I remember the year Notre Dame went 7-3 and turned down any bowl bid because it felt it didn't deserve one. Times sure change.
Who? Even when we are mediocre? Nah, since 2010, our record is 101-62 (.620). That's worse than Zook's winning percentage at Florida (.622). In the SEC, we're 61-45 (.575), 4th in the SEC, and closer to Auburn and Miss State than Alabama, Georgia and LSU. This ain't the SOS or Meyer years. A freshman today was 6 years old when Meyer had his last great season, and weren't born when SOS was here. We're an average team.
Less to do with whether our team is good or not and more : it's the " Florida" label they like to nail to the wall
OK, so we’re 6-6 now. Who opts out for the bowl game? AR? Torrence? Gouraige? Pearsall? Dexter? Miller? Burnet? Dean?
I thought the bowl games were supposed to be fun for the team and fans and for the TV networks and conferences to rake in some extra cash. Does winning factor into any decision?
Stupid prideful decision then. If you are looking to better your football team, you don’t turn it down. The only legit reason to turn it down is if you are from a small school and will lose money going to a bowl.
You can bet that the opt out players are the ones that never really opted in to Billy's plan from the get go.
