He clearly was not the problem. His on target % was very good and he was explosive.

Of course he could have been better but he was easily the best player on the field

He could’ve won the game with his feet, but I guess PFF score is more important than wins.

    Exactly
He could have easily won that game with obvious better decision making. All this does is validate what many on here are saying

I posted elsewhere some other observations from Saturday's game but simple body language would seem to indicate that.

I realize he’s not coming back, but can he enjoy his time while he’s still here?

He certainly helped his numbers last weekend while effectively throwing the game away with his highly questionable decision-making

Well, in a Gator uniform. He’s been in his head the whole time so I’m asking too much for him to be present.

Little bit of both here, he had a big stat number and didn't necessarily lose the game, however he left some big plays on the field by not running.

I only hope I’m not being too hard on him. I’d go easier on him if he was doing his best and just didn’t have it upstairs to recognize and react to the obvious opportunities to help his team. But if he sees the opening and chooses to put up another pass for the NFL scouts instead of helping his team win, then I have a huge problem with that — and so should our head ball coach.

    So, which is it?…….

He could have played better and probably underperformed his talent

But he was still excellent and the best player on the field.

    Both things can be true

He was the best player on the field by far.

If we replaced him with any of our QBs over the last 13 years (ex Trask)… including Kitna…. we would have gotten smashed.

Wow. You've really drilled down to the only two possible explanations. Stupid, or villain.

There is no other possible explanation, including the most obvious one that Matthanu started with and repeated: AR WASN'T THE PROBLEM.

Its easy to get alot of yards when your playing behind the entire game.

CBN cast his lot with AR. Bringing in an untested Kitna likely would not have helped our cause last weekend. But that’s not what I’m saying.

AR wasn’t the main reason we lost - there were far too many brain farts from the rest of the team that cost us the game. Hell, the muffed punt catch alone was the difference in the game. What I’m saying is that AR could easily have won this game for us at multiple points in the game, and for whatever reason didn’t.

Coach has been asked about AR and his ability to run it and he’s consistently been saying it’s on AR. The offense allows for him to keep or check to himself and he’s just not doing it.

We needed him to help the running game and keep the offense on the field. He decided to make a business decision not to run.
