Hearing there may be some interest in a transfer to UF. He threw 50 TDs this year. Anyone else hearing the same and thoughts?
I’ve heard the same but mainly via Twitter talk and some scattered talk but nothing substantial. If Hartman does enter the portal, and tbh he kinda would be foolish to considering WF is a darn good spot, UF should pay a king’s ransom for him
I have t believe Hartman doesn’t come to UF if AR returns. If AR returns and Hartman still comes, it’ll be a very interesting spring.
Meh. I think any Gator fan who has watched the games would take Hartman over AR and not think twice. And i can't imagine Napier would have a different opinion
Why the Meh? I didn’t imply that I liked AR more than Hartman. Just that it would be an interesting spring. No telling how much AR learns over the spring and summer. And you have the “experts” saying AR is a potential 1st rounder and yet Hartman is coming back for a 6th year. Count me in as one who is frustrated with AR this year, but it is his first year in a new offense and he really was our best and only option, this year. Our season could have been worse had he gone down. Hartman seems to make good decisions and has very good touch, something AR struggles with. I prefer both of those over the ability to run and be electric.
"meh" because i don't think the spring would be all that interesting. The only edge AR has over Hartman is his ability to take the ball 80 yards to the house, and it seems like he's making a conscious decision not to do that.
Hartman has nothing else to prove. Time to take your shot in the pros. His draft stock won't improve any more.
I would think Hartman would go to the league. If he doesn’t, and AR left, I would love to have him or Card.
Good take. What I really meant is half the board doesn’t think he is a first rounder based on the frustration of this year.
