This team went out and won 6 games as a team. I think we forum posters forget that win or lose in that locker room they are a team and deserve the reward of a bowl game experience. A lot of people don't understand the perks they all get from simply showing up to play. iPads, PS5's and other goodies. We as fans may not be pleased with a mediocre season but if we want a team in the future we need to reward them when they earn it. They did become bowl eligible. They earned that. Go Gators!!
After UGA there were threads saying we wouldn’t win another game…Then 6-6 after TAM… then 8-4 and winning out after USCjr …now it’s back to 6-6. Some in this fan base just need to take a Xanax
Keep in mind that some of Mullen’s higher rated recruits transferred out. Copeland and Hopper come to mind. 60 of these athletes probably would never have been recruited by Napier and are not SEC quality. “Heart” and “playing for each other” can only do so much to win games.
Since no one else has mentioned it, I thought, other than a brief exception for COVID, SEC teams must accept bowl invitations because the money is split equally among all teams. If that’s still the case, then why are we arguing about a course of action forbidden to us in any case?
Baptismal season for Billy. The Gator coaching staff and team need nothing but pressure. If it is the U bring it on!
