Been watching the gators since the 70's. Can't remember special teams ever being this bad. One thing I liked about Urban, he really emphasized how important special teams are.
Sorry for the sort of tangent. I think (hope) that next year, we will see Jeff Scott as the OC/QB coach, one of the O-line coaches gone (a luxury), and Napier makes STs his role. I guess if our current coach leaves also (do they have a dual role?), Napier can remain the QB coach. I guess Scott would then need another coaching role. I am not sure what that may be.

My 10yo knows to plant your feet at the 10 when they are punting and if it goes over your head to let it get you a touchback. Can’t believe how stupid it was to try and catch that ball.
This is another example of Billy hiring his friends to join him in Gainesville. They are not SEC level coaches ready for prime time to play the best to coach against the best in the business
Be the ST coach? No, he was what he is now, HC, OC, and QB coach. I think he will realize something HAS to give. Getting someone like Scott will give him assurance that "his way" will be administered. And so, he can move to a more pressing need. JMHO
I think he could get away with wearing multiple hats at Louisiana. UF is too much of a program for one man to do that many jobs. He should do like Urban and make his actual position Special Teams, because they sure as hell need more coaching than the Analyst is giving them.
