Well that would certainly be nice. Not likely, but Hooker is probably out, so maybe a few Milton picks could do the trick.
Special Teams Special Teams Special Teams We probably have had worse, but not often. Seems like a major fail in some aspects most weeks. Cost us 8 points today and we lost by what ..7. Punting is probably the only consistent thing we do well.
Respectfully, it was pretty much non-existent. Couple that with AR not really ramping it up till late and then not taking the easy yards running. Let's put it into perspective. Look at all the close games today. Look at the upsets. All we need to do is beat FSU. In their house. Vandy beats SCe. SCe beats Tenn. Vandy beats Florida. Florida beats Florida State. I see patterns... There ya have it!! Go Gators.
That’s typically a bad sign that the HBC is overwhelmed that he can’t even make sure ST is shored up. All good though, Kirby or whatever must’ve have had the same issues. Belichek too I’m sure
Could you please give us examples of this sign happening on other teams that helps you come to that conclusion? Thanks
I saw plenty of mental errors... why? To me they looked like anger issues, from the outside looking in.
I’m still onboard with Napier but, this game was ours for the taking. I think Napier is still learning, but he needs to act like his pants are on fire all week when games like this come up. We simply can’t let these “opportunities” slip away. One thing I wish our coach would do that SOS did more than once: when the offense is not hitting on all cylinders change QB’s. Give Kitna a series or two. It might help Kitna AND Richardson. I keep waiting for AR to rise up and carry the team on his back in games like this. Waiting……
Learn to read. Never said I wanted Chip Kelley or Brian here. Go back and read it again. Move your lips if you need to.
We not at the level talent wise where we can have a B or C level game plan and effort and beat a team like Vandy. Felt like that’s what happened yesterday and it cost us. Treat every game like it’s the natty title game
And just because fans or teammates remain positive doesn’t mean they don’t see all the problems. Napier is getting rid of all the negativity on the team. I wish we could also get rid of the fans that are only constantly negative. We all see the problems.
AR to me is probably affecting the gameplan immensely by the choices he is making. I like him but he is struggling for whatever reason. Sure he threw for a lot of yards and had a lot of balls dropped but still makes a lot of bad decisions and throws. He has to have more Tebow attitude to beat FSU. If there isn’t a bunch of that field on his jersey next week, we have no chance.
In other words, what we have been for the entirety of our 100+ years of football outside Spurriers run and a couple great years under Urban that we sold our soul for.
Lower your expectations it will make consuming this team on Saturdays much easier. It’s been really difficult for me but I’ve done it over the last 10 years.
