Shortest post game PC of the year. “They forced us to throw it the perimeter at times.” “They made Anthony hand the ball off at times.” Say what, maybe someone can explain this to me.
Again-do you want him to tell you what is really going on behind the scenes and throw people under the bus
And didn't people get upset when other coaches did this-sometimes things are kept within the family-you know within the privacy of the home-or in this case the locker room
Mike Leach style Today in a post game interview, he commented that some of the younger guys showed us a reason why they are not getting on the field.
I think the comment that Florida was beating Florida today is the key comment. Lots of penalties especially on 3rd down on defense, a horrible special teams play… lots of poor decision making all over the field.
You think top tier kids want to play for a coach that is going to toss them under the bus when they dont win? It's always best to never air the dirty laundry.
A coach plainly saying we sucked and as coaches didn’t prep well for a,b,c, is not throwing kids under the bus. Coaches all over do it without blaming players.
This always has been a multi year project. BN is non negotiable on trust and Gator family. He is walking the talk by not calling out players in public and incoming recruits see this. Just as they see where we are not maximizing performance at certain positions. Top shelf/program players recognize performance. They also recognize the opportunities that are present on our team.
Why would he have to bring up anybody's name. He does say the right thing in keeping it general and when coaching or individuals are instructed its through game film. I don't expect much more than we need to coach better, play better and it's my job to see that it happens. Most coaches don't throw anyone under the bus.
