I looked back to see if our turnaround at the half was due to FSU running out of gas. The box scores from all of their previous games showed even halves, so I am guessing the turn around was due to coaching. Happy with that.
Lol….I’m reading thru this game thread for laughs, and found this post. You do realize I was “booing” on a post, and not actually at a game, right? That half stunk - and I’d “boo” it all over again. But virtually only!
yup…. I think there were some tactical changes, such as extending the defense; personnel changes, such as Bonham; and energy/attitude change across the floor.
I thought we did see him run the offense. I think he was out there with Richard, Fudge, Castleton, and Reeves.
33-7 run for the first ten minutes of the second half. FSU played us even for the last ten minutes so being gassed was not an issue. Whatever Coach G said at halftime was "golden". CC was an absolute beast in the second half. The Fudge dunk was special.
Well I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. If you couldn’t understand why there were reactions such as we had from watching the game, you may need more help than first thought.
No, Im just not a jackass of a fan. I try to keep positive and cheering the boys on no matter what. Not a reactionary as a few here seem to be. OK, your turn.
Leonard doesn’t coach, he only recruits, his assistant who has been with him forever coaches the players on court, LOL.
Kugel played terrific defense in the first half. He missed two cripples that he should have made, and he overthrew a cross court pass. He might have thrived in the second half with the Gators’ new aggressive style of play at both ends of the court. I still think that he can be the second best player on the team this season behind CC if the ultra passive style of play that we played during the first 7 halves of the season is done and gone. I intend to talk to Golden about it.
Maybe, but he has the best court vision on the team. I had no problem with the pass other than it was too high.
Play him and he will quickly become great. I would give him 25 minutes a game. Do that, and in a few games he will be a stud.
