This can only be a troll post OR a post to generate traffic in this forum. I have to believe we dont have crying whiners as fans who would actually believe garbage like this OP
I will take the bait. I want to see as much Gator football as possible even if it means the possibility of going below 0.500 with the bowl loss. This is Napier’s one guaranteed freebie year from Stricklin and the boosters, not that he gets that freebie from the fans. Based on probability and any predictor I can think of, the Gators will likely lose to FSU. Based on what we saw with Vandy and in Napier’s history with Louisiana, we could lose the bowl game. I expect to see a lot of career backups playing against FSU and in the bowl game, so get prepared for mentally. Either way, the coaches will always accept a bowl bid and the extra practices.
Never expected for this team to be (arguably) worse than the team that was said to have quit on Mullen.
Our defense should have switched to a five man line. Setting the edges and getting more pressure in the backfield. Of course that requires someone that gets we never set the edge and we only got to the QB one time. Sad!
Unlikely they win that though. I wouldn’t mind taking them on in a bowl game. Our defense would look like 2006 reincarnated.
Less talent on this year's team. We lost a lot in the portal. Also lost a 1st round Cornerback. Far more difficult schedule as well. The fact that the results are similar is encouraging. I would say the biggest difference is this team never quit in any of the losses like last year.
Taking bowl games the last five years has hurt our brand. Running out and embarrassing everyone who loves the Gators. Have self respect! This is only about money. Times have changed with the NIL and transfer portal, probably at least ten players will opt out. You can find your own reasons as to them not wanting to play in a bowl game.
