Two goals this season...both met. Napier 2-0. No one will remember how many games we won in 2022 or to whom we lost. Win the bowl game...sign the class. Future is bright.
It is that simple. Nobody should have had any expectations for this year. If you did, that's your fault
1. I like how we keep moving the goalposts for Billy. 2. All these moving goalposts are making our kickers miss.
If you can’t see the improvement on the field and in recruiting, you never will. We just aren’t good enough to turn the ball over. Our 2 TO’s led to 14 points. We have to play perfect football to win right now and it didn’t happen today. Recruiting, Recruiting, Recruiting and Napes is on fire there.
Priority 1 needs to be holding the line on the recruiting trail and improving on the class. Recruiting means hope.
There is zero reason a Florida Gator team should be losin' to a 4-6 Vandy team. ZERO. This isn't about talent. It's about coaching.
Florida players just aren't good enough to overcome all the madness today. Florida beat themselves. It happens. I’d rather it happen this year than the year we are contending. We are rebuilding. Contending soon. Likely 2024.
I remember when Urban Meyer (pretty good coach) said you can get your team up for 3 or 4 games a year. We were not up for this one...understandable.
That won't solve the poor offensive play-calling and clock mismanagement though. And it won't fix our special teams coaching. We will win more games with elite recruiting but won't become an elite team without elite coaching.
I expected players to know how to tackle. I expected not to see consistently poor game management. I expected not to see us lose to Vanderbilt. Should I just expect the team to show up? Seems a bit of a low bar for a HC who likely makes more than Vanderbilt's entire coaching staff of both football and basketball, no? He's being paid an amount that equals 114 years of the median household income. Edit for phone typing mistakes
No one can say whether or not the future is bright. A good recruiting class is a positive. It doesn't guarantee success. You are entitled to your opinion. Not everyone will share it.
There are more red flags than green flags for the future of this program That’s what I’m afraid of. If we continue stinking it up on the field at some point the recruits are going to stop biting
