I am pretty defensive of coaches in that it takes two to tango. You can only do so much to have players execute their assignment.

But when everything is bad, including the play-calling and the penalties, it's awfully hard to look anywhere else.

I've never played at that level, is there some secret ritual the coaches perform to allow tackling, covering receivers or calling good plays? We seemed to have an issue with these at USF too.

 

A spike would have made WAY WAY more sense to anyone with half a brain. So of course we didn’t.
