He wasted two years at Michigan, but my goodness, he has been one of the greatest Gators of all time.

He should definitely be looked at to win SEC player of the year, regardless of our record going forward.

IMO, he's the greatest Gator right now when considering all major sports!

I like Colin and he’s far exceeded any and all expectations I had when he signed. All that being said, the season is too early to reach that far. He’s in the running, but I’ve got to see how thing’s look once conference play starts. We really haven’t played anyone of merit…..yet. Nothing negative against the competition we’ve faced, but CC hasn’t been tested yet. He will, once we get to the SEC slate.

CC is playing great. Let us enjoy the ride as fans and hope that he keeps it up.

And he was not tested playing against a 7' 4" stiff at FSU that fouled out in 11 minutes with no points.

Colin is playing at a Joakim Noah level in terms of points, rebounds, blocked shots, energy and leadership. Not quite the passer that Noah was, but not many bigs are.

Yep. He's been awesome, but the competition to this point hasn't been top level. And most of his matchups have been against smaller teams. If he gets 20 and 10 against a good Xavier squad, I'll say he'll be in contention for SECPOY.
Teams will start to scheme to take away some of his game, so he'll need to evolve with it. FSU did a good job of collapsing on him in the first half. More teams will try, so he'll need to make them pay by hitting the wide open 3-point shooters with the pass.

And to this thread, let's appreciate CTG. Imagine this team without his selling to CC a better year at UF than playing in the G-league.

Michigan did not realize what they had. And Collun didn’t realize how much he would have contributed as a freshman and sophomore at Florida. Bit it all worked out for him and us.

His attitude and work ethic is contagious and he demonstrates to the rest of the team that offense and defense of hand in hand. He is as valuable to us defensively as he is offensively maybe even more.

Gotta give MW credit when xedit is due.
