I know it’s year 1 of a new regime…and that my opinion and thoughts hold zero weight…but I have a rule for all coaches post spurrier. If you lose a game to Vandy, you should be fired. Period.

muschamp should have been fired after 2013 season.

There are no excuses when losing to Vandy. None. Injuries, refs, weather, players (this same team beat Vandy by 40 last year) whatever….you CANNOT lose in football to Vandy. That is a coaching issue.

It is a fireable offense. This is a bad Vandy team (4-6) who had like 3 passing tds vs SEC teams going into today. Every good offensive output they had was vs noN sec teams and UK.

 

Ironically, this may change our January bowl projection (Reliant) back to Memphis.

 

I thought 8-4 or 7-5 before the season. Guess the 6-6 or worse crowd was spot on.

 

I think it is more that they have no margin for error. One mistake and that is it. Like the offense under Muschamp. One false start and you might as well point.

 

I'm talking college football, not swimming, name me how many mild manner coaches have won a NC in college football within the last 20 years?

The sad reality of football is that sometimes you have to play better to beat the refs. Unfortunately we are not so far so it is what it is I guess.

Special teams are terrible, offense too conservative.
