Hate when I know what’s gonna happen early in the week and it happens. Been watching this series for 60 something years . Just know this stuff. But it still hurts after all this good vibe stuff that we’ve had lately. Just when we have a chance to get respectable we find a way to screw it up. Just hate what I see but knew it . Today we are back to a stupid uninspired team! Needed to play well to get ready for FSU, but no!

I noticed that when we use a spread line up, with the receivers out wide, we have much better running lanes.

I wonder if any one person in our "army" of coaches saw that and will ACT ON IT in the second half.

Coaching 101

 

Well, so many Gators with rose colored glasses crowing about how much better we looked in the past two weeks. And we did look better, but consider the competition. Beating TAM on the road was nice, but they've hardly been a good team and their problems were compounded by the flu. We had a good outing against USC at home, but some problems continued. While we still have a half to play and I believe we can win, it certainly hasn't been a game where we shown any improvement. The personal foul penalties are ridiculous and killing us...lack of discipline. The return and coverage game still stinks. Neither offense or defense has done much to inspire. Even Chris Doering on the SECN halftime show is questioning the game plan. We'll see. We are still very much a work in progress. We'll have to be much better to beat FSU next week...and will need to be better if we want to pull this game out.

 

Yeah, exactly. Vandy can't score if the half runs out. I asked what made you, presumably someone who want UF to win, think prolonging that half was a better idea than getting in to regroup?
