Good job convincing Americans that $3 is a good price for a gallon of gas.

I assume you're being sarcastic. You have no idea how cheap that is. In some respects, we Americans are so spoiled and feel so entitled that we lose sight of the bigger picture.

Remember when the oil industry had layoffs because gas was so cheap and it didn't make sense to drill?

Yeah but why did we let them stop exploiting and pumping that oil anyway. It’s almost like they’re allowed to do what they want as if it’s a feee market economy. I’ve heard that some big energy companies aren’t drilling because the ROI isn’t high enough. Better to sit on reserves. This is horrible! Why aren’t why paying (more) massive subsidies to these poor companies.

    it’s communism I tell you!

It can't be! I was told that Joe was going to drive it to $9 a gallon!

So at this point, I think it is just like 30 cents higher than pre-covid pricing. Hopefully it will keep dropping and will take the other inflated prices down with it.

University Health said Thursday that its Robert B. Green historical building was deemed unsafe because of damage sustained from the quake, which hit Wednesday in a remote area near the New Mexico border. The historical building is more than 100 years old and has been closed off for safety reasons, University Health said.

The quake initially had a 5.3 magnitude but that was revised upward to 5.4. The earthquake’s epicenter was about 23 miles south of Mentone, a tiny community about 350 miles northwest of San Antonio.

It was one of the strongest earthquakes on record in Texas and hit in an area known for oil and gas production. On Thursday, the state’s Railroad Commission — which regulates Texas’ oil and gas industry — sent inspectors to the site to determine whether any actions were needed.

Earthquakes in the south-central United States have been linked to oil and gas production, particularly the underground injection of wastewater. The U.S. Geological Survey said research suggests that a 5.0 magnitude quake that struck the same West Texas area in 2020 was the result of a large increase of wastewater injection in the region.

A lot of shit going down in the world today How many of those cents do youattribute to Biden and could you defend your answer using global oli production data, macro economic factors affecting demand and well as micro economics data impacting gas prices here.

It’s mid 3s here and diesel is over $5.

Don’t blame Biden for any of it wether it’s up or down.

    But carry on
