Rest easy, this is how Republicans perpetually gang-bang themselves. Democrats are so inept at almost every step that I am surprised to learn they even attempt membership drives, but Republicans insist on focusing on the opposite of D's goofy pet projects to ensure they alienate most of sentient America. MGT and Boebert will be HarryandLLoyding at Insanity Level 9.9 that even Q will put them in the Pedo Pool by, I'd guess, July. D's will come back to win this by being a herd of cats instead of a nest of vipers.
Hasn't most every state? BTW Florida has also had some horrific race based crimes against whites too.
Read about lake county where the sheriffs department lynched a black man for having consensual sex with a white woman. THe sherif was re-elected after the book came out. Now the murderers son is the sheriff.
Of course. But nothing like, for one example, state accepted lynching and a strong history of the kkk and their organized violence. It all has its roots in slavery. A true evil of the south that impacted generations after.
If you are white, which I assume you are, you have no place to talk about it. You might be related therefore associated with slavery and all that racism too. Please don’t speak for those who were actually hurt. You’re just another white boy hypocrite.
Do you read for comprehension? One county had a sheriff’s department that was run by the kkk in the 60s. No one said that the majority of the state is racist but a significant portion is and they all vote maga.
I had not posted a response to any of your posts after I posted the comment you replied to. The views you have posted on this thread and others in the past, strike me as myopic and parochial with an apparent unwillingness to discuss issues, lacking committment, even interest in to finding solutions to the myriad related problems destroying the United States. Your projected accusations of hate reveal as much or more of your own hostility and anger towards others than it does of those you have accused of same. Accusations and anger drive the wedge ever deeper, worsening the situation as extremists from each side push back harder than they were pushed. There are all too few efforts to heal and make whole, only to retaliate and punish. I think it's accurate to say we all - right and left - love America and want the country of our birth or adoption to thrive, but yes, there are differences in what people believe is good for the country. Differences where reasonable, willing people can find workable solutions through compromise. They are not found through absurd charges of hate while shooting from the hip with offensive slogans to 'love it, or leave it.' There was a lot of that plastered on car bumpers during the divisive days of Vietnam. It was mostly a generational issue. I had a peace symbol on my VW beetle and my in-laws had the offensive slogan stuck on the back bumper of their Lincoln. We all loved and love America, and even if our views on the war then were as divergent as they are today, it did not mean then, nor does it mean today that we did not love America. I was curious to know which way you leaned during those years, were you for or against that war, presuming you are of that generation. As for me serving - no I did not serve in the US Military, but my elder son served in the AirForce as a surgeon. He was deployed in Iraq and aslo with US special forces on Jolo Island in the Philippines during the Abu Sayyef assaults on that island. He was also selected to travel with Bush 43 as personal surgeon on 24 hour call should Bush have required his service, when Bush was traveling in SE Asia.
Most good citizens serve their country, communities, family and if they are religious their faith. Nothing about being in the military makes you unique or special. So the answer is yes
