I actually tend to think that is just as much the cause as the effect. I graduated undergrad in 2005 and Masters in 2007, and I don't think a single one of my college friends are still in Florida. Most common destination is Atlanta (which also explains the shift the other way in Georgia), but also Seattle, California, New Orleans (for myself), DC, New York, Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, etc. It wasn't so much policy as the collapse of the economy in Florida in 2008 (which was indirectly policy, but people didn't move due to the politics).
Lets say I believe my eyes to be wide open, and yet I still see a different view than you do. How do we know which one of us is seeing the real world?
Sadly, Florida has always been a racist moron's paradise. Sort of. I know people who have left the state because it's not lily white enough for their KKK loving souls.
I do know I’m paying a hellava lot more for everything in your world how’s that reality working for you?
Same could be said for Georgia and MTG. Difference being is Colorado nearly voted their bimbo out, MTG won in a landslide. Adam Frisch could have easily called for fraud and demanded a recount like the Republican Party given how close it was, but he’s not a mental patient so he took the high road.
I wouldn't leave because of the racists. It's easy enough to disassociate with them. I might have to leave since my daughters don't have full citizen rights here as they would somewhere else.
No, it's not funny. It's a terrible outcome to a race between Adam Frisch honorable man who conducted his campaign with honor and Lauren Boebert, a self aggrandizing liar. Frisch announced earlier today he had called Boebert and conceded the race. She led the race with 551 votes, about 0.34% of Boebert’s 163,758 votes. Due to the close count there will be an automatic recount, required when the count is .5% or less. Frisch is not asking for a recount, he is not expecting results to change, and thinks further fundraising would be essentially pointless. Democrat concedes to GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert in tight Colorado House race | CNN Politics “The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small. Very, very small. It’d be disingenuous and unethical for us or any other group to continue to raise false hope and encourage fundraising for a recount,” Frisch said. “Colorado elections are safe, accurate, and secure. Please save your money for your groceries, your rent, your children, and for other important causes and organizations. I just got off the phone with Rep. Boebert. I called her to formally concede this election.” As of Friday morning, with almost all the votes tallied, Boebert led Frisch by only 551 votes in what had been considered a safely Republican western Colorado district. In Colorado, any race decided by a margin that’s 0.5% or less of the votes earned by the top finisher is automatically recounted. The current margin of 551 votes is about 0.34% of Boebert’s 163,758 votes. According to information published by the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, all but one of the counties in the Western Slope district have finished reporting votes. Under Colorado law, counties have until November 29 to complete a risk-limiting audit, which involves double-checking a small number of ballots against the recorded votes, and then until November 30 to certify their final results. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has until December 5 to certify the election and order any mandatory recounts. Those recounts must be completed by December 13.
Doesn't that mime a jerkwater bumper sticker (USA love it or leave it) from the late 60's? Tell us Hall, did you serve in Vietnam or support sending thousands of young American men to die in southeast Asia?
Your trite shallow responses aren't worth anyone's time to reply. They would hit the bottom of your mind making nary a reflective ripple.
House GOP plans….. “Investigations will dominate the new Congress, from the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic and allegations of politicization at the Justice Department to America's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. But none will attract as much attention as the GOP’s planned investigation into the business dealings of the president’s son Hunter two years before a potential Biden re-election bid.” House Republicans plan investigations and possible impeachments with new majority
most good Americans were appalled and deeply concerned on Jan 6th when a maga mob rioted at our US capital beating LEO. And doing so to keep their Dear Leader in power. “The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters,” GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy After Jan 6 attack on the capital. So now gop house will investigate……hunter??
