This is a graphical representation of each game's flow. This is based on the following work. Kind of technical, but look at the graphs & let me know if it is valuable.

    From the season graph:
    • Bonham & Jones are strictly facilitators.
    • Felder, Fudge & Richard are strictly finishers.
    • Our offense runs among the group of Reeves, CC & Lofton.
    • Kugel gets the offense, already a facilitator & a finisher.
    • Jones has found a way to impact the game as an effective facilitator despite not scoring much.

I watched Texas last night & was impressed. So for comparison, here is that game plus their season totals. Notice the top-7 for Texas are all producing & facilitating.

Has Jones become gun shy? He often goes multiple minutes without even attempting a shot and was under the impression that last year was an anomaly for him.

Take a look at one measure only, Team Clustering. The closer it is to "1", the more connected each player (i.e. vertex) is with the others. The connection is defined as an assist. So the more assists spread out among all the players, the better. If the assists are spread out, all things being equal (ceteris paribus if you remember/had Denslow at UF, lol) the offense is functioning better.

For the season, more connections will be made so this will be closer to 1, so probably not useful for comparison with individual games. But the season graph will still show where we're making connections.
