The Gators travel to Tallahassee in an attempt to wash some of the stink off the FAU loss. Tip is Friday, Nov 18 at 8pm and will be broadcast on the illustrious ACC network. Pick the score, the MVG, and the SoG. For this contest the SoG will FSU 3pt%. After giving up 54.2% to the Owls, the Gators face an FSU team shooting a respectable 40.4%. *** Editing My pick before tip after reading Efawcett's article about the Noles' compromised roster: Gators 75 Nolies 69 Mvg Castleton Sog 45%
Gators. 75 FSU. 70 MVP Castleton SOG. 32% This game will be hard fought! We need all players to hit a good percentage of shots, defend better and hit your free throws. Castleton needs to help the team with distributing the ball when doubled or triple teamed. Our PF players need to get rebounds and put backs. Be physical and set the tone for the game, we won’t back down!
A lot of people on here must think; 1. The seminoles will play the game of their new season, possible, 2. We won’t defend very well 3. We won’t be physical and aggressive. Well, CTG and his staff, I am thinking they think this could happen and are trying to impress upon them that the very things that are leading a lot of us to give losing picks, could happen if we lay back and let FSU dictate the game. Their game plan is play hard and aggressive defense and sharing the ball for good shots. After FAU we know if we don’t do these things, it is very possible. My feelings, is we are going to fight and share the ball better, CC knows we can’t win with only him scoring, we need everybody involved! another lesson coming Friday night, I believe everyone in the program knows, we can do better.
I'm surprised at the number of people picking FSU. I realize that it's in Tallahassee and anything can happen, but they are a bad team this year.
They have lost the last three games just to get us sleeping on them, maybe even feel sorry for them. Nah, we owe them a streak!
I am picking the same score as their last game: a loss against Troy. UF 79 SOW 72 MVG CC SOG 40% Usually giving up 40% from three is really bad. FSU can shoot the three but they allow the other team really good looks from the arc and are a terrible defensive rebounding team. I expect that we get a lot of really easy putbacks.
