    We ran a 6 man O-line set against LSU when Muschamp was here, and UGA runs it right now every now and then. But I haven't seen a college team go 8 man O-line yet.

    Not advocating using 8 offensive linemen, but since we are rotating 3 offensive tackles, why not keep them all in on occasion.

    I think Meyer also used extra linemen in goal line and short yardage situations.

    Eight offensive linemen.
    AR takes snap under center.
    Big Dez @ FB.
    Gervon Dexter takes handoff and plows straight in behind 21:cool:

    Big Dez makes the Fridge look small. Rather than Dexter, I would just give it to one of the running backs

    UGA has a 6'7" 270 lb TE which is almost like another OT on the field.

    Yep, the have 2 NFL ready Tight-ends, and it is like a 8 man set when they run that.

    Dexter running? Man, you are CRAZY! Dez is the one with running experience. Why give that up???

    Kayden McDonald, the 4* DT that we are after, also play RB for his high school team.

    Some teams run 7 and 8 men olines using TEs. Very hard to defend if the TEs are athletic.
