Napiers explanation is we ain’t doing black uniforms. Last I checked they were not the school colors. I think the uniforms this year has been great. Whatever BN wants is fine with me
Well in my day bicycling would have put you at a distinct disadvantage since that would have whizzed you by Broward Beach way too fast to be able to properly ogle all the bikini clad co-eds laying out!
A uniform thread during the season? This throws my seasonal internal clock entirely off! I’m losing track of what time of year it is. I’ve always thought that the white jerseys with blue pants is one of the coolest looking uniforms of anybody. But if the players want something snazzy (showing my age by saying “snazzy”), let them have at it. If it gets them jacked up to play better, then my sensibilities don’t matter. One thing I always chuckle at with Oregon uniforms is they are so bright that no receiver will ever sneak through the peripheral vision of a defender. Back when I played soccer when dinosaurs roamed the earth, one teammate had a pair of Adidas shoes with the three stripes in bright fluorescent orange. The coach made him put electricians tape over those for the very reason that anybody could see him coming out of the corners of their eyes.
The kids really do like the new threads, while us old codgers don't see the need the 5 stars like them.
Not sure if anyone has said as much already, but I was told by someone inside the program that CBN said he had bigger things to focus on this year than uniforms. Not that I am well connected or anything, but I did get an opportunity to meet some cool people and tour the new facility recently and jumped at the chance lol.

Thanks, wouldnt be my preference but Im ok with those if the players like em. Black does give kind of a bad ass look especially for the defense. Not sure I would want the offense wearing those for a night game. Probably need lights for the WRs. Most anything is ok for me, except the blue tops/orange pants look which reminds me of syracuse. Of course never again for those green scaly uniforms.

NIL doesn't come from the school/UAA budget...they aren't putting anything into NIL for portal players
I understand that, but they can put some purchases towards companies that would be happy to get into NIL deals. There’s a lot of that going on.
