Because they fail to understand/recognize how many more people suffered and died due to DeS policies. Ignorance is bliss

Regardless of what he says he has repeatedly shown his authoritarian and punituve tendencies and inability to deal with reality that he doesn't like

DeSantis has a glass jaw and a short fuse. It was present in the debate with Crist. The crucible of a presidential campaign will expose his frailties and shortcomings.

Also, for whatever reason, this country hasn't elected someone in the TV era shorter than 5'10" for whatever that's worth.

The truth is the truth. Thankful to live in a state led by people who follow the data and science.

Are we talking about the fake data or the real data?

Real. Data that looks at the whole. Data that does not ignore science.

70% of the seats with 60% of the votes. Overruling your own legislature who was trying to avoid litigation, knowing that the courts would back you up regardless. And control of the House may hang in the balance.

Florida IG report: 'Insufficient evidence' for DeSantis critic's claims of Covid cover-up

Florida IG report: 'Insufficient evidence' for DeSantis critic's claims of Covid cover-up

“That conspiracy theory, which Jones alternately promoted and recanted on Twitter before her account was suspended for violating the platform’s terms of service, has persisted on social media for more than a year, despite the lack of evidence. The Florida Democrat who ran the state’s emergency response at the time bemoaned how Jones spread “disinformation.” Independent epidemiologists say the claim has no basis.”

Do you understand what data is? Data doesn’t look at anything. Data does not ignore anything.

I know exactly what it is.

I know that this disease was extremely dangerous to the elderly and the overweight (obese/diabetes). And not very dangerous to most. But we ignored this reality.

Most people in this country are either elderly or overweight (or both). So your own claim here lacks internal consistency.

No fan of DeSantis but the fact the election deniers that he supported lost really isn't indicative of how well he would do outside of Florida if he was running on his own. Gov. Youngkin of Virginia did the same as DeSantis and most of the Republicans for whom he campaigned outside of Virginia, a number of whom were the same ones DeSantis supported also lost. Voters in swing states just weren't buying candidates promoting election denial no matter what other politician campaigned on their behalf.
