This is actually not a bad theory, but if he’s leading in the polls at that time, he’ll go full steam ahead. Any of us would if we were leading in the polls.
The libs dumped it one time to get a few judges passed. That came back to bite them in the butt. Once it’s done it lives on
Oh yes, impeach him for that. Also, impeach him for stealing the election and for causing global inflation. Don't forget impeaching him for the Jewish space lasers too.
That’s what I said Good old boy Harry skated it to get a few appointments approved and it came back to bite them in the butt. In this business what goes around comes around
Our inflation is all on greasy Joe. He is the one having the money printed and has nothing to do with global inflation. They are not the ones responsible for the actions of The Big Guy
With a 2-4 vote majority, McCarthy is going to need Dems to get some things done. If the GOP is flagellating itself with stupid investigations, the Dems will be less likely to help out. Also, for every dumb investigation of Hunter the right wants to do, the Senate equivalent committee can retaliate against a GOP target.
It might actually be good for the country to get some cooperation and compromise between the parties and get the system back to working like it is supposed to.
So the big guy was selling his office and getting a cut off it from China And Russia it’s not worth knowing the full details. But it was awful important to try and frame Trump for years when auctually it was Joe his brother and his son getting rich from it.
Yep the bypassed the filibuster in 2021 to increase the debt ceiling. The Senate can do whatever it wants to
Impeach him for being born, impeach him for being old, impeach him for failing to kiss the Donald's ass.... this could become a drinking game.
There also wasn’t anything in the constitution to allow for limiting debate. That’s why the cloture rule was established; to allow a super-majority to end debate and proceed. Also, doesn't the parochial nature of the house generally emanate from changes in the majority? I think we are basically referring to the same reason why the senate was established the way it was.
Apparently you look at their function as being “Do what I like”. I look at their function as “doing what’s best for the most people, and the country as a whole”. Certainly, spending us into an inflationary period not seen in almost 50 years is not what is in the best interest of the most people. I don’t consider doing stupid, dipshit things “being effective”. Many, many millions of people are going to have to pay a very heavy price over the next several years for the senate’s “effectiveness”.
Marriage equality, infrastructure, gun safety, veterans healthcare, climate change, support for the post office, aid for Ukraine, etc. all sound pretty great to me. I'd say it's also very impressive how Biden managed to spend the entire world into an inflationary period. Of course, the largest deficit in U.S. history occurred on Trump's watch. P.S. You also look at their function as being "do what I like." You've simply convinced yourself what you want and what's best for the country are the same thing.
