The founding fathers created the Senate as a majority vote body. It has been perverted over the years to this 60-vote minimum model.
Just a point of information, the Senate voted today to end a filibuster on the same-sex marriage bill. So it does happen.
Speaking of bull shit how long do you think that it will take before they started investigating Hunter Biden for trying to monetize his familial relationship with his father or the FBI for following the law?
Not exactly. The Senate was set up for long, basically unlimited debate. You need to do your research since you either didn’t learn this or chose to forget it. It has always been set up to be a more deliberative body than the House to constrict wild swings between the the changes of majority in the House. Yes. I support Congress doing its job and legislating. I also happen to think Republican priorities aren't particularly popular, so if both sides were forced to legislate, the Democrats would end up coming out ahead. That's, of course, debatable. The 218 seat just fell. Let the paybacks begin. If you can’t take it don’t dish it out. Now we can find out who the big guy is. You libs have had your fun for 6 years now the worm has turned
That what it has been for the last six years. Of course when you put clowns in charge of the senate and the house you get a circus

Oh yes, y'all have him now. Impeach him for having a screw-up of a kid. I'll love seeing that. Make sure to tell America that Joe Biden was supportive of his son despite his son's addiction. Been quite effective at getting legislation passed over the last two years. But I get it, you're projecting.
Not really. There is nothing in the Constitution except that the Senate can make their own rules. The filibuster can be dumped at any time. The “deliberative” body was meant to balance the parochial nature of the House, not necessarily changes in the majority.
