IMO, Burney is the most improved defensive player on the team. His motor is great.

Off topic but I pray Ventrell stays healthy remainder of season and gets taken higher than expected in the draft. I can't think of a more deserving player. On topic, I think staff might find a couple LBs in the portal.

Kudos to staff, S/C, trainers, medical, nutrition, etc. - our guys have been strong this year and gotten back on the field quickly for the most part.

These modern day scales just aren’t as good as the old ones.

They’re programmed to show you as heavier so you’ll spend a bunch of money on fad diets and bogus supplements. Except the ones programmed to show you as lighter so you’ll spend more money on harmful foods and bogus supplements. Either way, it’s a conspiracy, mostly by the supplement industry.

Burney will always be a Gator great in my mind for one pivotal play this year. Maybe not quite a Gator Great, but definitely a Gator great.
Agree that Burney is a great Gator for giving us what he has, effort and heart. Also, for one special and extremely pivotal play early in the season. Actually, that int was more an exclamation point than a pivot point. Hopefully Mr. James is learning from Burney and Miller.

Why does the Publix scale always adds like 5 pounds? I would think they want you to buy more groceries.

We will need ( absolute must) to find a portal guy to step in next year. Besides Shemar and Scooby there is not much depth. Need a bigger backer w experience. You may see 2 portal guys with one a starter and one to build some depth. If Wingo or Black were to transfer there would be no depth at all.
portal wise you’ll see 2 D tackles and 2 linebackers.

    More profit in "diet" foods.

Why a scale at a grocery? If you're heavier, you buy diet foods, if you're lighter you splurge on "bad" stuff.

I am an Amari Burney fan. The guy has persevered and leaves it all out on the field every game.

By all accounts he has always been a hard worker. People need to be more respectful in their criticisms. Criticisms are ok as long as they are constructive but some can't do that

Truth: If a kid is not a hard worker and doing his best, he will not see the field. All we can ask is a kid be the best they can be.

Just to add, I'm not a Saint. Not trying to preach from a soapbox or anything. I am guilty of the same emotional pettiness when a player underperforms but the adult has to kick in and realize the kids are trying, want to win more than we do and the opposition are doing the same. The problem is social media allows people to vent things they should keep to themselves.
