    I’ve heard aTm and USC are also in it for DJ. After LSU got the commitment from their most recent QB, I asked sports illustrated Director of recruiting (John Garcia) how much this helped UF, and if it was going to come down between UF and Clemson. He said it helps UFs chances, but that aTm and USC were also in it.

    Clemson isn’t even mentioned here and it looks good for us…

    The blue-chip Lagway said it really came down to “USC, A&M, Oklahoma, Florida and Baylor really, those schools.”

    Lagway talked about what he was looking for in a school.

    “That family atmosphere, somewhere I feel at home and somewhere I can grow and develop thats a huge thing for me,” Lagway said. “My family made sure they loved it, its a really nice area. I’m really excited to get up there next December and get right to work.”

    That not the point of my post. The point is he looks like he might still still searching for another team... maybe.

    Most people, unfortunately, are geographically challenged. "Up there" is often said by people north of Florida whole referencing Florida. Could be just a statement simply like "I am going down/up the street"

    I wouldn't read into "up there" too much.

    “Florida this weekend was great,” Lagway told On3 after his visit for the LSU game. “It’s always great being around the coaching staff. It was a great atmosphere and being able to see the fans is always amazing because the amount of love they show is tremendous. It was just great to be back down in Florida.”
