Horrific Shooting Involving UVA Football Players

Two games left in the season, I don't know how they even play those games.

Basketball team announced they are canceling their game for today.

 

Just awful, by another player too, unimaginable. The twisted convoluted mind of a coward. smdh!

Thoughts & prayers to their family, friends and teammates.

 

This is awful. Imagine if it happened here in Gainesville. I'm shocked at how little coverage this has gotten.

 

Horrific! What a shame. The football family, their own families and friends, the community? Just a crying shame.

I hope our AD, Napier and the team sends out a note to the University of Virginia, offering condolences and unity through support. After all, they are our brethren. it's times like these we need to pull together even stronger.

Me too. Its very tragic. Really no excuse, but I am curious to what caused him to do this. All I’ve heard is the shooting was done on a charter bus. Nothing else about what led up to the shooting.

 

I’m very curious myself. Either way, as a Virginia alum this hits hard.

 

It appears this was over some sort of issue about being picked on, appears.

 

Tweets have since been deleted, but here’s a detailed article on the situation. He was on the bus with them coming back from DC and started shooting. Also mentions that he was hazed and felt bullied.
