No it isn't. CU lost to Grambling the other night. They stink.

Didn’t realize that. Generally they have been decent to good under Boyle. So in general I’d expect them to be better than FAU

still always brutal losing to an in state satellite school.

The great Mike white lost a lot of SEC games, only last years loss to Texas Southern was a major loss to a small school out of conference. Golden has 1 in year 1...... However, the heels have lost to UNCA before, UNCW before etc. - so not the end of the world
Gators loses to "small non power 5"
2015-16 - no bad out of conference loses
2016-17 - no bad out of conference loses
2017-18 - Lost to Loyola chicago, ended up being a very good team and made a final four run
2018-19 - no bad out of conferences loss, lost to Oklahoma and Butler, but not to any smaller schools
2019-20 - Lost to Butler again and Utah state
2020-21 - no bad out of conference loses
2021-22 - Loss to Texas Southern

And likely that Reeves or Richard are standing on the 3 point line with no one near them. It would also save some CC energy needed late in the game. He powered through pretty well but definitely a step slow at the end.

Well, based off of my purely anecdotal research, we don't necessarily win when I don't watch... it's just that we tend to lose when I do watch. Maybe it's because I tend to watch the "bigger" games which means we have a better chance of losing. In all honesty, I'm not really joking about this. It really is frustrating and it's part of why my fandom for Gator BB is waning. I need help!

In basketball, refs are not affiliated with conferences like in football

You can't let this diminish your support of UF....if we all felt this way in the 90s about Gator BB..we would not have enjoyed the Billy D era..hang in there

Is English your first language? I just gave you proof that these guys are considered prospects. Do I think that they all will play in the NBA? No. I expect Kugel to be a 1st round NBA pick and to have an NBA career. TG needs to play him more. CC has a chance to play in the NBA next season with the G League as his fall back. Lofton looks like a G League player next season with a chance to get some NBA playing time at some point. Richard, Reeves and Fudge are all projected as future 2nd-round draft picks right now. That makes them NBA prospects.

Ha! My support of UF will never diminish! Just my willingness to actually watch games and follow BB more than just reading the NBN board and checking scores the day after the game!

I really like Richard and Lofton as well as Fudge. I believe that they are quality improvements over last year's transfers. Felder was a pleasant surprise last year and warrants minutes this year, but Richard needs to get the ball more often. We have three capable scorers on our starting 5- Castleton, Reeves, and Richard. Lofton can also contribute points-wise. This team is going to do well if they can keep the unit healthy.
