We beat Utah and lost to Kentucky. Those two were questionable and maybe could have beat lsu and Tennessee too. We aren’t that good this year but I think the top 10 teams aren’t as good as some years.
I do worry about that FSU game. Statistically, they are the best team on our schedule outside of UGA. They are now #10 in both yards per play and yards per play allowed. For context, UGA was #7 in both and they demolished Florida, although to be fair I think Florida is playing a bit better now than they were 3 weeks ago.
Completely doable. Posted this before SC, too, so that also had to happen after getting humiliated by them last year. My season prediction was 8-4 in August, and, I'm sticking to it. But, we will not be favored against fsu.
ehhh UGA's schedule was pretty soft this year. Other than Oregon, who they dominated, they played Samfrod, USCe, Kent St. Mizzou, Auburn, Vanderbilt. Those 4 SEC teams I listed, looking at pretty much any power ranking, represent the bottom quarter of the conference.
I’m headed down to Vero beach to visit my parents for Thanksgiving but I am thinking about stopping by Tallahassee on the way back to watch us kick their ass. Pretty much a minimum of 200 bucks a ticket though and I have my kids
Sounds like what Tennessee fans would have said last year about the Top 10 or the playoffs this year. College sports has the quickest turnaround time in all of American sports.
Yep, there were a lot of people predicting us to lose to bottom dwellers. All we had to do is beat the sorry teams to win 8 games
