RHP commit Grayson Smith has officially signed with the Florida Gators. Smith is a 6’2” 205 pound pitcher out of the McCallie School. On Perfect Game, Smith is the 140th ranked prospect and the 39th ranked RHP in the country.
SS commit Stone Russell has officially signed with the Florida Gators. Russell is a 6’1” 195 pound middle infielder out of the IMG Academy. On Perfect Game, Russell is the 164th ranked prospect and the 42nd ranked SS in the country.
RHP commit Liam Peterson has officially signed with the Florida Gators. Peterson is a 6’5” 195 pound pitcher out of Calvary Christian Academy. On Perfect Game, Peterson is the 13th ranked prospect and the fourth ranked RHP in the country.
SS commit John Martinez has officially signed with the Florida Gators. Martinez is a 5’10”190 pound infielder out of the Montverde Academy. On Perfect Game, Martinez is the 500th ranked prospect in the country and the 40th ranked SS in Florida.

Love the Majory Stoneman Douglas pipeline.

A really nice set of talent that should have a realistic shot to make campus (1-2 notwithstanding).

I don’t know any of these kids but guys that are 6’5” 210 lb 1B/OF should have some serious power at the college level. That is a big dude at 17/18 years old.

Me too. Looked for some write up or a box score ...something. I found -0- even on Gator Ath website. Zero.

Maybe it did not happen since no one saw it.

BTW- Bigfoot saw me, but no one believes him.

 

I feel good about the batting potential. Lots of promising candidates.

I have long wished for a quality group of hitters to match Sully's pitching compliment.

 

I, too, have been hoping to see a write-up on the O/B Game. I stopped by the Park Saturday morning and walked around inside a bit. It was my first opportunity to go inside. It is beautiful. I got to see some of the players warming up. It was very exciting and I am hoping to get to a game some time soon.
