If the D can continued to play the way it did for most of the year that would still be heard and louder.
Fans have both long and short memories, often your only as good as a Coordinator as you last few games.

I was at that barner game. I was sitting next to a mouthy barner fan and after that TD I turned to him and he had vanished. LOL.

 

Reminds of the guy whose head is in the pillory egging people on to throw tomatoes at his head. Same thing going on in these forums. Some people have to persist even though they were so wrong about what was going to happen. Kudos to the coaches for how they handled our team after the Mullen/Grantham debacle of last year.

Those 3 turnovers in a row have to really boost the defense's confidence. That and the no TDs given up.

I agree within reason.
It’s hard to accept a D being worse than last year when it was so bad last year.
Seemingly there should have been some decent improvement before the last few weeks.
Not talking about vs teams like UT/UGA/LSU. but USF they had one of the worst pass offenses in the country.

Things are looking up but 6 quarters aren’t enough sample size to predict the next three years.
Been here before.
