It's accurate. She is not nearly as popular in Pueblo as they residents of the area are unhappy with her lack of support to revitalize a depressed steel industry. I still have hope.

Hobbs has a 31k vote lead over Lake with about 400k votes left. 275k are from Maricopa County. For the other countries, if Hobbs wins 60% of the Pima/Tucson vote, this will offset any gains Lake gets from the rural counties. Being 30k votes behind, for Lake to win, she will need to win more than 55.5% of the Maricopa outstanding ballots.

Not impossible, but not likely. Hobbs is currently winning in Maricopa, and won 54% of the ballots counted last night from Maricopa.

Oh, @Orange_and_Bluke, appropriate meme. Revenge of the Nerds was filmed on the U of Arizona campus and around Tucson.

Latino vote heavily Democrat. Florida an outlier.

Florida is always an outlier because of Cubans and affluent Latino immigrants who tend to be right wing. But the Hispanic trend across the country is not positive for democrats. The democrats should be increasing their lead with minorities given the white nationalist nonsense dominating the Republican party. But in typical Democrat fashion, they are shooting themselves in the foot with their shitty messaging and woke agenda.

Great story out of the Washington. The Republican 3rd District primary bounced a strong incumbent who had held the seat for 12 years ... because she voted to impeach Trump. Then replaced her with a Trumpster candidate.

Guess what? The democrats just flipped that seat.

    Thanks Trump!

Gluesenkamp Perez’s defeat of Kent is a significant victory for Democrats in a race that had been rated Lean Republican by Inside Elections with Nathan L. Gonzales.

Democrats had long targeted this seat, but GOP Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler had proven a strong incumbent. Her vote to impeachment Donald Trump after the US Capitol riot, however, made her a target of the former president. When she failed to advance to the general election in Washington’s top-two system, she became one of four Republicans who voted to impeached Trump who failed to make it to the general election — and the 3rd District became an open seat.

    ^^^^^^

I don’t know any of these pols, but I gotta say, this likely is a loss for America. An experienced, apparently liked, rep who was willing to put their ass on the line, bounced for having integrity. Sad

With the WA-03 call, if Porter holds her lead in CA-47 (Wasserman just called CA-49) and the AK-AL Representative who is close to 50% is able to win when ranked choice comes through, Democrats would hold every single district bordering the Pacific Ocean.

Their "woke agenda" is part of why they do so well with voters of color and members of the LGBTQ community.

I have no idea what voters of color means. Hispanics come in every color. And many are conservative.
