The only time I have ever seen this offense go fast this year was when we hit a big run and followed it up with the same exact run. Whether by AR needing time to read the defense, or by design, this offense does not move fast.
Honestly, I don't have a problem with it. AR isn't throwing it all that well right now. I think many throws have been all arm and across his body. Its worked out so far, but if the threat of the run is not there like right before half situations, then it is risky for us to try to pitch it around with AR.
Being the slowest offense sure didn't help Kentucky today. We should adopt something closer to Ole Miss & Tennessee next year.
Thanks for a positive post. With the carping and quibbling going on in this thread, you'd think we weren't seeing the best total first half performance by a Gator team since before the great collapse in '20. For cryin' out loud, try appreciating the fire, discipline, and composure of a young team making serious strides in the process of finding itself in the first year of a massive rebuild. Sheesh, already.
. . . and it's funny how so many regular OGT posters, who loudly complain, are conspicuously absent today. LOL!
