When players commit to Miami it's only because of money, when they commit to UF it's because they love the Gators and really want to wear orange and blue. Cmon guys, this isn't that hard!

Skink I agree with 99% of what your wrote. Well written and thoughtful. I remember thinking several times at end of seasons "will we ever win a championship? At least in my lifetime." But then Spur dog and Urbs success-and by TT's senior season I was spoiled and unhappy that we weren't CRUSHING everybody. (Thanks Adazzio). I have since regained perspective during this drought and come back to my senses. It took awhile. But here is where I disagree with you, I think Dooley is a different story. He can't wait to dis gator fans and put them down. I think he's a somewhat bitter, marginally talented has been, who acts like he has the answers to all things sports. I do not care for his negativity towards gator nation. I really enjoy my interaction with about 95% of gator fans I come in contact with. Happy to chat and have a drink with them. That's a really high percentage I think. Go Gators!
