third parties don't have to win to influence policy. They just need to get X% of the vote where x is somewhat dependent on how close Rs & Ds are. Look at GA. On this thread people took keen interest in a 3rd party that got virtually none of the vote. of course there are other ways. The guy in UT claimed he would not be beholden to either party & LOST

To follow up my previous post . . . . Who has claimed that their side is "completely honest with you"? What's naive/dishonest is comparing occasional lying by one side with the biggest LIAR this nation has ever seen (Donald Trump) and equating the two.
Can you imagine being a colonist … walking through Ky, Tn, Virginia, and WV before the hillbillie hicks got to it. Virgin forest, untouched river basins.. the Gauly Gorge, Cumberland falls, Clinch Mountains, … and no people to have to talk to.
