This should be a serious lesson in why we do NOT talk smack online after losing a recruit. They may flip. Keep recruiting them until we can’t (and then talk smack lol)

I don't talk smack about 16 and 17 year olds but not sure I follow you here. Is it because you think 17 year olds are using GC forums? I'd imagine most 17 year olds know far less about the internet than most adults, they really only know about making incoherent Twitter posts and watching 15 second videos of people they don't know doing something that doesn't matter. They don't read things.

 

I knew there was a chance he'd decommit especially if they struggled. Glad he picked the good guys. Valuable lesson of why it's important to not get in your feelings and trash these kids when they don't pick UF, because there's always a chance that they'll come back around.

BEFORE you post something chastising the anonymous ‘all yall’ know that 90% of our gator fans have no idea who Rashada is (my spouse is a grad, goes to games but doesn’t care about recruiting). Candidly I can name maybe 5.

So point to actual posts, tweets, etc before tearing into alum/ guys like me.

Um, I guess I am pleased. If Napier thinks he is a key piece of the puzzle then fine. I realize we are in a new world and expecting 17/18 years-olds to make informed and convicted decisions is probably a silly idea.

Nonetheless, he DID take the expedient route, rather than just saying "I am not sure where I am heading" and that means bidding war. I support Napier and I am sure he is as inexperienced in "the new way" as I am, but still, bidding for youngsters and potentially (actually mainly) setting up a caste system on a team is fraught with some damn big land mines.

Welcome aboard, I presume you "got religion" (and not a bigger paycheck) and so you are ready to learn about life, teamwork, and honing a craft in earnest.

 

How is this not talking smack about kids? If I missed the sarcasm my apologies I haven’t had my coffee yet.
