You must've stuck your head in the sand when a prolonged 20 year "war" was going on in Iraq, the financial/housing crisis of 2008, and now Covid effectively shutting down the economy and restructuring the very notion of "going into work." The government LITERALLY bailed you. At OUR expense. Because of lending policies established by Boomers since the 2000's. That's done.

But then again, it's what Republicans do best.

I'm not sure why you disagree. The wealth gap is at a record high. The can't afford homes. Rent has skyrocketed. What part do you disagree with?

I am not sure that this is stating what you think it does. I think it means that older generations never got treated for mental conditions not that the young are crazier than us. Gutting it out on your own is a method of dealing with mental issues but is it the best way?

I could see it going both ways. I think younger folks have a lot more stress to cause mental health issues. Social media being the largest factor. On top of that a pretty bleak economic and political environment that appears to be working against most of what they are striving towards.

I think Trumpism is the last hurrah of a dieing ideology. Time will of course tell.

I sure hope so. Maybe you guys can save us from the mess us boomers have made. Global warming, runaway debt, and bringing our democracy close to ruin. Hopefully we leave you enough to work with. Your gens voting against Dear Leader and maga candidates is a great start.

Agree. And I think that's why Trump has the unwavering support he has. They realize the writing is on the wall.

Wow. This made me smile. Trump followers accusing “you youngsters” for lack of critical thinking. Trump followers.

Goes to show, I can't stand trump. So you are just part of the left group think. I posted my opinion because I don't think highly of Gen Z

A lot of victims in those generations. I’m sure many will grow out of it.

One can hope. One of them will be president in the next 30-40 years.

Now if they would just get off their phones and go out and vote they could in fact change things. I know it appears they came out stronger than normal this time, but I bet they were still 20% behind in turn out compared to the Boomers.

Your disdain for R's and, it would appear, many things conservative is quite apparent. I can understand why. At the same time, I think you had better be careful who and how you support on the D side. Make no mistake, the D's have crazies just like the R's. The best thing for this country would be for more folks to work their way back toward the center and stop focusing on positions that are extreme. We had better start finding ways to meet in the middle and accept positions from each side or we are going to crumble from within. Be proud of "your generation", but be mindful that not every viewpoint from the other side is unworthy and not everyone from the other side is hateful.

The 18-29 cohort voted +32 for Obama in 2008.

They're now the 32-47 cohort that voted (approximately) +2 Democratic in 2022.

The assumption that Republicans will go extinct once the Boomers die off is shaky, to say the least.
