Abortion is nowhere in the Constitution.

Bans on slavery in our founding documents? Please point out where are founding fathers banned slavery. I think it took a civil war 90 years later to free the slaves and I will be generous and say another 100 years for actual equality between the races at least on paper.

The 13th amendment seems to address the issue. This is it:
The 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution provides that "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

And in the document which founded the US - the declaration of Independance: All men are created equal.

Point being the ludicrous claim that being anti-slavery was a personal value of I-Boy. Obviously far more than that.

I was referring to your claim that being anti-slavery was just a personal value

The Constitution has been in operation since 1789, The 13th Amendment was passed in 1865.

The Declaration of Independence is an important document in American history, but it is not a legally binding document.

The Constitution was not anti-slavery until the mid-to-late 1800s. Until then, people who were pro-slavery could've made the same argument I-Boy just made. "You don't like slavery, try to stop actual cases of slavery, don't force your values on others by law."

All irrelevant. Is the 13th amendment in the Constitution? Yes.
A statement of national values found in the DOI isn't meant to be legally binding. It is a statement of values which was the subject of the discussion. Your discussion as a matter of fact.

When the 13th Amendment was passed is ENTIRELY relevant when discussing whether people could have made the same argument I-Boy made when slavery was at issue. It could not be more relevant.

The answer: “They could have.” Why? Slavery was not a legally settled question at the time slavery was a highly contested issue, and it certainly was not settled by the Constitution as you claimed.

Here you go. Since I-Boy made his statement post ratification of the 13th -Take this short and simple test: If you try to enslave someone it is
    • a Constitutional act
    • an un-Constitutional act

Then you are misunderstanding the point I was making to the point of blatant dishonesty.

    Nope. Your statement:
You believe slavery is wrong, go out and do something to reduce actual slavery vs. forcing your values upon us by law

You compare someone being against slavery as having a personal belief that should not be addressed by law because he said your personal religious belief should not be enforced by law

Yes, I am pointing out how pro-slavery advocates in the mid-1800s could have made the same point I-Boy just made.

I agree with your point it’s your facts that are wrong. The 13th amendment was not in our constitution as drawn by the founding fathers.

the Declaration of Independence is widely thought of as the birth of the United States but the Constitution is the actual birth of our nation.

We were under the articles of confederation before that. That was not a good document.

Last few pages all I’m hearing is an old white man gnashing his teeth at the women of America who when he and his elk tried to insert themselves into their personal healthcare decision and said “hell no”.

What hubris. Nice to see you choke on it.

    Elk intentionally used…..

I’m not sure how all these arguments for against slavery are being attributed to me.

    - I don’t have 1860 polling numbers, but I am going to guess a majority of Americans and a majority of people in Europe were against slavery. I don’t know that for a fact.

    - Slavery is committed against someone one way. The only stake of the other party, the slave owner, is economic. Abortions you have to parties that are physically impacted, the non conscious nonfeeling non viable fetus and the mother who is going to carry the fetus for 9 months.
