Not to mention investigations of the FBI and the DOJ because those agencies have the audacity to enforce laws prohibiting the mishandling of highly classified documents.

 

Endless DT impeachments, investigations ad nauseum....but but but I know he did something bad.

Yes he did. The Pubs marched in lockstep and refused to remove their Dear Leader from office. For a meaningless impeachment Bill Clinton who was essentially impeached because he received a BJ from an intern is a better example. An impeachment of Biden should have the same effect on the Democrats prospects in 2024 that the absurd impeachment of Clinton had in 1998. Historically the midterm following the reelection of a 2-term president has been disastrous for the president's party, see 1986 and 2006 in which the Republicans suffered significant losses. In 1998 the Democrats didn't lose any seats in the Senate and picked up five seats in the House. If the Pubs impeach Biden expect the Democrats to regain their majority in the House, expand their majority in the Senate (I know I'm a bit premature here since three seats in the Senate have yet to be decided) and hold the presidency whether the nominee is Biden or someone else.

By the way is there is good chance that all of the above will happen in 2024 whether or not the Republican majority in House opts for a show trial. The difference is that that an impeachment without a foundation would increase the possibility that they lose the House.

 

Are you suggesting that highly classified documents are crap or that illegal possession of such documents is crap and shouldn't be investigated or prosecuted? Just asking.
