Back when I had my home building business in the 80s I built several houses in that area. Wouldn't it be funny if you lived in one of my houses?

It's my house now, and I have debased your beautiful creation with lib paraphernalia. Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi pictures cover the walls. They watch you wherever you go.

I built 5 houses in Oakwater estates, 2 in Wekiva Landings and 1 in The Palms so unless you live in one of those subdivisions you are safe.

If you live in west Florida, you learn to appreciate fine dining at restaurants inside of gas stations, like Groovin Noovins. There is a whole counter-culture of people who dine almost exclusively inside of gas stations, and not the fancy gas stations like Buc-ee's.

I think I was first introduced to the culinary side of gas stations at a wawa. I was a bit late to the game, but in all seriousness, its pretty damn good for a quick bite.

They never remodel those restaurants. Once a place like that hits 40 or 50 years old, the carpet and the drapes are impregnated with food and grease. You can slide across the tile floors. Once the excitement of newness fades from a restaurant, the waitresses and servers are no longer particular about making sure things are clean and sanitary. And the sheer number of children (little disease factories) that eat in these places (and get their own food) should make a germophobe's skin crawl. No telling what's going on in the kitchen. The one positive about most Quincy's is that they are not as old and worn out as most Golden Corrals.

My kids loved it cuz of the variety of pizzas they make. My wife went once with us and refused to ever go back. After that it was just a boys trip. Girls. I tell ya. Too scared of ecoli.

We usually take our kids to hibachi to get their carb overload.
We did it last night and it didn’t disappoint.

    Yep
There was one near our soccer fields that we’d hit after games. Packed on a Saturday.
Kids and I liked it just fine.
    My wife hated it.

Yeah. Our hibachi has kids eat free on Sunday. But my kids quit liking it at some point.

Sadly same. Takes too long for teens. They don’t want to spend that much time with their folks. : )

Was my favorite until I developed a soy allergy. I mean who develops a soy allergy? Besides me and Darrell from "The Office?"

Is "soy allergy" code for the runs? If so, I am very soy allergic to hibachi places.
