Should be cleared out by Sat.... expect Thurs/Fri to be wet across the state. If current projections hold and it's barely a hurricane at landfall, should be primarily a rain event for Gainesville.

This is subtropical, with circulation created by the boundary between a high pressure front & a low pressure front instead of through ocean heat. They still name them.

Considering the path is all over us and the eastern seaboard, impacts of SCAR traveling to us at all? Got tickets and time off work so a Sunday game works, too, but preference would be for a nice sunny day of football. sigh

You know, I had to read that twice and remember that this thread is on SwampGas. Yes, let's downgrade Miami to the Cat0 "primarily rain events".

In the north it would be a nor'easter. Since it's the south, I prefer to call it a y'all-easter.

No, it won’t but for an already hard hit SW Florida area sure doesn’t help.

Biggest impacts will probably be the fans traveling from impacted areas in the state. This game is sold out. Also, it's possible flooding may affect some roads from the east.

Model runs keep moving northeast and approaching sooner. Will be over Maryland by Saturday. Blow through Gainesville on Thursday.
