Ok. Fans celebrating anywhere is going to involve fans getting hurt. If this is about preventing the school from liabilities, go on ahead. Yawn
Make the penalties in the millions instead of thousands. That will get the attention of the offenders.
Was never too worried about the tasers. Weren't even around back in my day. It was that wall of horseflesh that was plenty intimidating.
I think that a bit much. Storming the field is over done and not really a thing we do at UF. But I get why UT did it when they beat us this year.
I marked your reply as funny the way you described UT as mediocre was Spurrier like. They haven’t beaten us in like 15 years so I can still see why they did it plus their inbreed hillbillies so they don’t know any better. Can’t spell National Champions with UT….
I stormed the field at The Rose Bowl at a Dead Show. They tried to keep the seats and field separate as general admission. My ex wife was six months pregnant with my 30 year old son. Not a very bright moment but it is what it is. He got up front to see Jerry in the womb.
Cops need to identify and give citations to the purps, as many as possible - a serious fine (like $1K or more plus community service). School should be fined only if they failed to do their best due diligence to prevent it.
You got to be kidding us? A generation or two ago, our social mores (Fabric of Society) were stronger and most people were better behaved when storming the field took place. Today, there are too many idiots that go completely out of control when cursed at, shoved, and or punched. Also, there are some that are looking for the opportunity to take a cheap shot at someone. Also, most of the stadiums back then were smaller (60K or 70K) now they are 90K and higher. Today people are more apt to get crushed as the crowd spills down onto the field. People say that nothing bad ever happens are wrong. Many injuries like accidental or intentional are not reported. These injuries get treated and people move on. THe perps that take things too far, are quietly arrested and released soon after the game. Action needs to be taken before we do have people killed in these situations. That is a price that should never be paid.
My daughters first year at App State this year will probably have one signature moment. Storming the field after the Hail Mary. Watching it, i was a little nervous, but most of the great things our kids get to do come with a bit of nerves.. She was fine... And will remember it for the next 70 years. That said. App State aint Tennessee and LSU. Those two need to act like they've been there.
