They are now permanently banning accounts for doing this going forward. It should be noted that Elon Musk stated earlier that he doesn't believe in permanent bans. Apparently, that only applies to minor things like trying to overthrow the US government or going on rants with racial slurs. Again, all of this seems very well planned and strategic and not just a guy reacting to whatever stimuli he sees.

Wow, it turns out you guys didn't really want "free speech," huh?

Do you know why she was suspended?

For speech. Almost like Twitter, as a company, is allowed to do that and not infringe on her rights to free speech.

Why would I try again? You haven't actually provided evidence that she wasn't suspended for speech.

Seems like the cries for "free speech" weren't on the level.

You are the one that said she was suspended for "free speech". Where is your proof for that claim?

No, I claimed she was suspended for speech. Because she was. She was suspended because she changed her Twitter profile name to Elon Musk. That is speech. And I pointed out the irony of the people whining about "free speech" being infringed when a company banned somebody for their speech applauding it.

She was suspended for breaking the rules by impersonating someone else (Musk).

Otherwise known as speech. It isn't like people complaining about Twitter violating "free speech" rights were accepting their terms-of-service as binding before. What changed?

That is so stupid and narcissistic. Plane following happens to all types of prominent people, including during every coaching search. He's now claiming that it's a safety threat to him.

The only safety threat from his flight is going to be when he fires the pilot mid-flight and throws him off the plane and then after there's some rough landing through some emergency protocol, claim that was the fault of liberal activists.

For a guy who's supposed to be smart, he sure has acted stupidly in the things he tweets. Being so immersed in right wing media has rotted his brain.

I’m going to disagree a bit here. Between people who glom onto celebrities, and the wealthy, plus now that Musk has been politicized, having somebody publicly track your every move does increase security risk, at least marginally.

If Silverman had a spine, she’d just leave the platform instead of using the platform to attempt to impersonate its owner. If you hate Twitter that much, just leave.

But you know they won’t actually leave. Elon sees this and is using them as cheap props, much like Trump did the media. Elon’s celebrity just grows as he trolls less popular celebs and public figures.

Elon is gaining 500,000 followers a day the past few days, which is up from 273,000 the day he finalized Twitter.

Apparently, Twitter is still good enough for President Biden to continue posting propaganda.
