Agree 100%. Just don’t put Lingard in on passing plays on 3rd/4th downs because he completely whiffed twice vs UGa picking up a blitzing LB.

Honestly curious, do you think you are really owed some kind of explanation? I have no doubt we'll eventually all get a truckload of speculation served up, but nobody from the staff owes us anything. We're just the cheering section.

I was at the game sitting amongst mostly Aggie fans. The only refrain I kept hearing was “we’re so young” and “Haynes King sux, and is not the answer”. NOT ONE mention of their discontent with Jimbo. Maybe it’s because they know no matter what, they’re stuck with him $$$?
Also, the rep about Aggie fans being the nicest and most welcoming hosts is totally true. It was an amazing, wonderful environment. My first time there, and I’d most definitely go back.

One more time... I like Napier and I feel like he will right the ship. And he does need time to do it. Right now it's not changing... not until next year. I hope for the seniors sake that they can go out winners and make a decent Bowl game.. 9- 4 is not a bad year, if we can win out and win a Bowl game that would be 9-4 which is what many of us thought would be a good first year.

But right now we are who we are as a team, and I am now okay with that reality... I just can't wait to see what he has in store for this off season. There are about 3 different Portal seasons between now and next season which is plenty of opportunities to get the players that he needs to succeed with.

Do you think we're not allowed to post our opinions on this opinion board?

Besides that it's been answered by a fellow Gator here, so no need to worry about what other people post on these opinion boards. I have no right to question your questions, and you don't have that right either.

That's the most logical reason... and that's all I was wondering. Thanks for pointing that out.

It also explains why his brother de-committed from our team too.

Absolutely we are allowed to list opinions. Your opinion is that you're owed an explanation. Mine is we aren't. I was only asking if you really believed you are owed one?

Agreed. Aggies were all extremely respectful and friendly. And one fan insisted he was still a big fan of jimbo.

I have since gotten a simple answer from a fellow Gator... but just to remind you, asking questions is healthy and part of these entire opinion board/forum. Many people here invest tons of time and effort to make these boards a place where we Gator fans come for answers... or just to chat about our favorite sports program.

    Go Gators!

Im glad to see new wrinkles added on both sides of the ball.

I saw blitzes and man coverage today on D. Finally!

Until we hear otherwise, he’s not doing what it takes to get on the field for whatever reason.

I am encouraged, but dont want to get too crazy with the "scheme is good talk". The turning point of the game defensively was the turnovers for the most part. That was a result of guys winning their individual match up and maybe not so much the scheme turning a corner. I do think they started to play inspired after the Mo shifted our way. However, lets see it again.... for a complete game.

You're really gonna die on the hill of a 4 star WR?

Receivers are open in the passing game and are blocking well in the running game. I see the lack of talent as the issue when the 3-star transfer from ASU is our best receiver and a 3-star true freshman in Caleb Douglas is getting snaps. KC is also recruiting well with some high end targets coming in. These are exactly the guys we would whiff on in previous years. I’m not easy on him, I see that we overrated Billy Gonzalez. KC played in the league and has produced NFL first rounders.

Well….I saw multiple LB blitzes and man coverage. Meaning the scheme has changed or they’ve added new wrinkles at least.

I concede that for sure... definitely saw adjustments after half time. I am still in wait and see mode. Our defense has been historically bad through 8.5 games. Im just a little apprehensive to buy. Hence the word 'encouraged'

And yet we have only lost to the champs, two teams Bama lost to, and the best Kentucky team in who knows how long. Perspective changes a little when LSU shows theyre actually good….tenn beats Bama…..obviously a lot of room for improvement but also there is a lot of things going well for Florida.

I think the only reasonable answer is that he's transferring..

We'll get that fixed by next year... I believe in Napier.
