…post game they practiced their a** off for 2 weeks. I’m wondering if they prepped for Tennessee instead of us last week.

I believe I heard earlier in the week they had been working on Tennessee for several weeks. I doubt vandy or Auburn were grueling prep weeks, plus there was a bye week in there also.

All coaches do this, they just rarely break from the coach-speak of “one game at a time.”

If that’s the case it shows where he thinks Florida stands

He may have said that but we all know that he practiced to face the Gators the two weeks before we played them. He knows how important it was to beat the Gators. I just wish we could replay that first half... because that 3rd quarter was how we should have been playing all year long.

I'm sure they did. Heck, they were 22 points spread. That would have been a smart move imho. They were highly prepared for ut.

On a side note, isn't it amazing what a talented DL can do? Also, if you noticed, they brought pressure time and time again not giving hooker anytime to run, or find open receivers. Their DL is good enough as they too were in our backfield quite easy, but when they added blitzing lbs, it suffocated hooker. I also thought he didn't have one of his better games, off throwing even when he had some time.
Uga, will be I'm afraid in the east what bama was in the west for some time. I watch Kirby coach and he's vocal, animated, involved and motivational. Say what you will be he imho is/has turned into a really good coach.

Listen, when we played ut, we allowed them, yes ALLOWED them to dictate whatever they wanted. Soft zone as usual, seldom pressure, no creative blitzes, hooker had a field day. Uga wasn't going to allow that to happen. They kept the pressure up for 4 solid quarters. That's how you stop a ut offense.

Sadly, I agree. But if BN can bring in some top classes, that should change.

Not quite sure I would take it that way. I heard it more as they had two big games back to back and they had to practice hard every single day for two weeks. Zero chance they took a rivalry game lately.

It is what it is. We’ve become an afterthought for Georgia, but we will get back some year.

Yep, he’s doing okay so far but we need to break into the Top 5 a few times to compete in this league.

Probably somewhere in the area of ‘those guys beat our asses not long ago and I don’t want that to happen again.’ Kirby is a douche and doesn’t show much respect for his opponents outside of Alabama. Is what it is. Right now he’s on top. Only one way to take him down a notch.

We don’t really have the ability to bring that kind of pressure. Our interior dline gets almost no push and it starts there.

We have plenty of reasons to despise uga and kirby. This kind of juice really doesn't add much. Solution: start beating them again.

Kirby can talk s**t because he has the dudes to back it up. It pains me greatly to say it, but they are the MOST talented team in the country. I guess that happens when you had a 3yr jump on NIL/paying players. Raptor anyone?

Kirby is a great recruiter, time will tell if he is a great coach. I don't think he is.

As I was watching the game it was clear UT was outmatched at every position on the field.

I am sure they did. He knew they were going to beat UF. The only question was by how much? Sorry but that is where it is right now. Kind of a reverse 90's / Spurrier era.

Kirby is a great coach. Looking without bias
Currently 75-15 in seven yrs. He has lost a total of 9 conference games.
He has won a NC, an SEC championship and 3 East titles.
He is 1 of 5 active coaches with an NC. 6 of 7 years ranked in the top 10.
    All while Saban has reigned.
If this was a Gator coach, fans would be screaming for a statue and his name in the ROH.
