What is the instant gratification in 2023? We will have a fine person, a phenomenal athlete, who can’t hit the broadside of a barn consistently with passes. It’s time to give someone else a shot. If Kitna/Miller fail we go back to AR. Trey Dean seemed to play better after his “injury” - is AR a delicate flower?

AR should absolutely go pro, and the NFL scouts see an amazing talent who had a phenomenal first game and has regressed in various ways in every game since. A clear way to discern this situation would be to assume that this phenomenal athlete has been very poorly coached and placed in bad situations by a bad gameplan and nonsensical play calling in-game.

UF has gone from a "decided schematic advantage" under Mullen - who actually DID have a very strong 12/15 play package planned out that scored points in the first and third quarters, to a nightmare where the first and third quarters are basically dead zones of bad playcalling. UF scored 17 against UGA in the third quarter, which was more than they had scored in third quarters in the whole year COMBINED up to that point (I am not counting the JV game against EWU). Before UGA, UF scored a total of two touchdowns in the third quarter of six total games. Go back and look at the box scores - it's glaring how UF has 0 in the third in almost every game, when opponents pull away and create separation.

Funny thing is F Franks did too.

They both seem similar at this point with AR seemingly getting dinged up a bit easier..

He gets dinged up too easy for that.

Interesting that I bad mouth AR and he has a decent performance. Good for him! As I've said before, he needs to do that for more than just one game. Consistency is my concern. In no way is he ready for the NFL, though! Yes, he has the talent, but he lacks the mental acumen! 99.9999% sure he is gone to the NFL.

He should have a decent game against Vandy. I'm undecided about the chickens, but that will be a tough one in Columbia. Free Shoes, I'm not going to predict. I simply hate the Criminoles--enuf said!!!

If he is in Columbia he will have a tough time and Naper will not start him

What say you today doubters? It takes time to transform a team into the product you need to have to win big. We played UT ,LSU and to some extent uga tough but he needs more players. BTW Jimbo has had several years and unbelievable facilities but got smacked by us in BN's first season. Not too shabby Billy ...keep it up.GO GATORS!

This is really AR’s first year starting. Joe Burrow did not win it all his first year at LSU (UF beat him). If AR comes back, I think you will see a much improved and more consistent version that is confident in knowledge of offense and better able to read defenses.

Well, its not just because the Gators won, but I thought the play calling was more aggressive in this game with the end arounds, some downfield passing and a trick play (didnt work but I like the effort).
Gives me more hope for the future.

I understand what you're saying. I think it all (performance and play calling) goes together.

AR and the Offense does much better with tempo and spreading it out a bit. The crossing routes to Pearsall are always open. Tempo and spreading it out allows AR to see the whole field and doesn’t give him time to think, just gets in a rhythm. I understand what CBN wants- the pistol/bunch/12 sets are what he prefers… but we don’t have reliable pass catching Tes so that means we are playing with ten guys or 2 in the pass game. It’s unfair to ar to judge him on one season in a new offense that doesn’t suit him. He’s had issues- obviously- accuracy, sensitive, injuries/ but he’s also made progress. 835 total yards, 9 tuddys and 0 turnovers in the last 3 games. I just hope Cbn opens it up
    A but in the off-season
