The score doesn’t fully reflect it, but Tennessee got mauled today. They’ve been a bit of smoke & mirrors and that ooc schedule is a joke. The kicker is at 11-1 they could get in the little 4 team playoff if UGA beats Bama.
UGA is real team and well coached. Wow! Lets hope the rumors of Smart going bye bye after this season are true.
Tough loss…anything short of 11-1 will be a disappointment. But give credit to Georgia, they prove that they are clearly the best team in the country.
As the night went on, as bad as it feels now, if Tennessee wins the rest of their games convincingly, I think they are going to be in the playoffs. Bama and Clemson losing was HUGE. UGa, OSU/Michigan winner, a "politico" team, and then either Tennessee or the OSU/Michigan loser.
Im not sure if Bama losing actually helps the Vols or not and if bama somehow loses to Ole Miss, the Vol win is devalued even more. Like it or not, TCU and Oregon are still major factors and LSU is still in the mix the way they are playing. If the OSU/Mich is a close game that could get both in also. Long way to go and the Vols are on the outside looking in IMO.
