Tennessee gets a huge ramp up in Year 2 under Heupal and LSU is getting one in Year 1. LSU may even play in the CFP if they beat Georgia in the SECCG.
LSU/Georgia would be a decent match-up. Maybe they can make Bennett be less smirky happy face. Go Gators.
Kelly is the real deal with a giant pair to go for two. If he doesn't make it the corn dogs would have eaten him alive. I think CBN can be the real deal as well but it mostly hangs on recruiting.
Why would anyone think Napier is a better coach than Kelly right now? Kelly has 25+ years of experience on Napier and has played for multiple national championships at multiple levels. To be seen if Napier is the right guy for our program, but I think Brian Kelly is a huge asshole who caused a student's death and would not want him representing our university.
I am not ready to crown LSU yet. The west isn't as strong this year as in the past. This is clearly not a traditional Bama defense. Gratz to beating Bama, but they are going to get throttled by UGA just like TN today.
I actually wonder where are they without Gibbs from the portal, offensively just doesn’t feel like they have many weapons.
In fairness, LSU probably does have more talent. But how did LSU do so well in the portal? And if they needed so many players, how can we be so far behind? LSU looks well coached, obviously, but also loaded with talent. Kelly proved he’s not conservative, and so far, we see Napier conservative and not so much so. Kelly looks like big money. Sucks. He just our coaches Saban and did so from a truly depleted roster to start the season. WTH ?
